We should mention about the upset which took place in Palanga, where higher ranked Neptunas-Akv. (17-11) was outleveled in a road game by tenth ranked Palanga (12-16) 91-62 on Saturday. American point guard Quincy Taylor (183-91, college: Longwood) scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Karolis Sapiega (197-99) chipped in 13 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five Palanga players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Vytautas Sarakauskas (204-82) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and Deividas Rasys (197-97) scored 9 points and 5 rebounds. Neptunas-Akv.'s coach Tomas Gaidamavicius gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Palanga maintains tenth position with 12-16 record. Loser Neptunas-Akv. keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost.
