Regular Season Round 20: Saint Vallier - Mulhouse 82-70

Very expected game when 10th ranked Mulhouse (8-12) was defeated on the road by second ranked Saint Vallier (16-4) 82-70 on Saturday. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Demond Watt (200-89, college: Texas A&M-CC) who helped to win the game recording 12 points and 9 rebounds and Vincent Ateba (195-85, college: Missouri So.) who added 17 points during the contest. Central African power forward Johan Grebongo (204-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Guinean center David Conde (202-92) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Saint Vallier and five Mulhouse players scored in double figures. Saint Vallier have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position in Group B with 16-4 record having just one victory less than leader Angers. Mulhouse lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Saint Vallier will face Andrezieux (#6) on the road in the next round. Mulhouse will play against the league's leader C'Chartres (#1) and hope to win that game.
