Very predictable result when sixth ranked Vanoli Cremona (10-7) won against on the road 14th ranked Treviso (6-12) 94-84 on Saturday. Vanoli Cremona dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Treviso's 36 and made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Ethan Happ (208-96, college: Wisconsin) who led the winners and scored 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). His fellow American import swingman Wesley Saunders (196-93, college: Harvard) accounted for 18 points for the winning side. Tongan-New Zealand forward Isaac Fotu (203-93, college: Hawaii) came up with 27 points and 7 rebounds and American-Polish guard David Logan (182-82, college: Indianapolis) added 22 points respectively for Treviso in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Vanoli Cremona maintains sixth place with 10-7 record. Treviso lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth position with 12 games lost. Vanoli Cremona will meet at home Virtus Roma (#13) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Treviso will play against Pistoia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
