Regular Season Round 20: BK Decin - Usti n/Labem 81-82

The most exciting game of round 20 in the NBL took place in Decin. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 8th ranked BK Decin (9-11) to fifth ranked Usti n/Labem (12-8) 82-81 on Saturday evening. Usti n/Labem forced 19 BK Decin turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Usti n/Labem especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Pavel Houska (203-84, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Spencer Svejcar (193-94, college: Alaska-Anch.) who added 18 points during the contest. The former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American swingman Lamb Autrey (193-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 20 points and 5 steals. Five Usti n/Labem and four BK Decin players scored in double figures. BK Decin's coach Tomas Grepl rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BK Pardubice. BK Decin at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Usti n/Labem is looking forward to face league's leader ERA Nymburk at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BK Decin will play against USK Praha (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
