Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Lorient (6-14) was defeated at home by third ranked Tours (15-5) 75-70 on Saturday. Tours looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and Guinean swingman Ahmed Doumbia (195-89, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. Tours' coach Pierre Tavano used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Mathieu Bigote (190-84) responded with 19 points and 4 assists and naturalized Mali point guard Ibrahim Saounera (179-87) scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Tours have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Le Havre. Loser Lorient keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Tours will face league's second-placed STB Le Havre at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Lorient will play against Caen (#5) and hope to win that game.
