Undefeated leader USK Praha delivered the fourteenth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Chomutov (6-8) 129-37. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Chomutov's 22 and made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha forced 30 Chomutov turnovers and outrebounded them 49-15 including a 19-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Chomutov's players. The best player for the winners was American center Brionna Jones (190-95, college: Maryland) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds. Spanish point guard Cristina Ouvina (173-90) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. Point guard Eliska Zilova (166-0) produced 8 points and guard Veronika Aulichova (170-19) added 9 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK Praha (14-0) have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 14 victories in a row. Newly promoted Chomutov keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. USK Praha are looking forward to face Loko Trutnov (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Chomutov will play against SBS Ostrava and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
