No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Levallois (14-5) won against on the road 13th ranked Chalon/Saor (6-13) 98-90. The winners were led by Zimbabwean power forward Vitalis Chikoko (208-91) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and point guard David Michineau (191-94) supported him with 19 points. Even 14 points and 7 rebounds by American swingman Jaron Johnson (196-92, college: Louisiana Tech) did not help to save the game for Chalon/Saor. His fellow American import Sean Armand (196-91, college: Iona, agency: Network Sports International) added 18 points for the hosts. Five Levallois and four Chalon/Saor players scored in double figures. Levallois have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 14-5 record. Chalon/Saor at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Levallois will play against league's leader Monaco at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
