Ninth ranked Jilin Tigers (19-11) crushed at home 8th ranked Brave Dragons (18-12) by 36 points 127-91, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Brave Dragons. Jilin Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Brave Dragons' 40 and made 31-of-33 charity shots (93.9 percent) during the game. Jilin Tigers brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 53 points (!!!), 16 rebounds and 9 assists (was perfect 15-for-15 from the free throw line !!!). His fellow American import power forward Elijah Holman (208-89, college: Detroit Mercy, agency: Pensack Sports) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) answered with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international point guard Shuai Yuan (190-94) added 23 points in the effort for Brave Dragons. Four Brave Dragons players scored in double figures. Brave Dragons' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the third consecutive win for Jilin Tigers. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Brave Dragons at the other side dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost. Jilin Tigers' next round opponent will be Royal Fighters (#5) in Beijing. Brave Dragons will play at home against Monkey Kings (#14) and hope to win that game.
