Regular Season Round 30: Osaka E. - Shiga L-Stars 76-74

Fourth-ranked Shiga L-Stars (13-17) gave a tough game to first ranked Osaka E. (20-9). Osaka E. managed to secure only two-point victory 76-74. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Shiga L-Stars. Osaka E. players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American-North Macedonian center Richard Hendrix (203-86, college: Alabama) notched 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and American forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) supported him with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Osaka E. players scored in double figures. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists by American Craig Brackins (208-87, college: Iowa St., agency: SDJ Sports) did not help to save the game for Shiga L-Stars. His fellow American import forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: ASU) added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Osaka E. have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-9 record. Shiga L-Stars at the other side dropped to the second place with 17 games lost. They share the position with Sea Horses M.. Osaka E. will play against league's leader Tochigi B. on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shiga L-Stars will play against Shimane Magic and hope to get back on the winning track.
