Regular Season Round 17: Sokol Pisek - Sokol Prazky 113-68

Rather predictable result when second ranked Sokol Pisek (14-3) rolled over at home 6th ranked Sokol Prazky (7-10) 113-68 on Friday. Sokol Pisek forced 19 Sokol Prazky turnovers and outrebounded them 52-33 including a 37-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sokol Pisek looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Sokol Prazky's players. Sokol Prazky was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Forward Tomas Pistulka (190-0) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Five Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Filip Hauzer (200-0) answered with 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Ondrej Aulich (192-95) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sokol Prazky. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek keeps a position of West leader, which they share with J.Hradec. Sokol Prazky lost their third game in a row. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. Sokol Pisek will face Sokol Vyseh. (#7) in Vysehrad in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Sokol Prazky will play at home against Basket Kosice and hope to win that game.
