Regular Season Round 16: J.Hradec - Snakes Ostrava 90-70

The game between Top Four teams took place in J.Hradec. Second ranked host Hradec (13-3) smashed 4th ranked Snakes (9-7) 90-70. They outrebounded Snakes 50-33 including 35 on the defensive glass. Hradec looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Greek swingman Nikolaos Noumeros (195-1) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and Slovakian Rastislav Sipkovsky (197-1) who added 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Four Hradec players scored in double figures. Hradec's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side forward Jan Micka (201) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and guard Matous Bruna (187-1) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Hradec have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 13-3 record behind leader Sokol Pisek. Snakes at the other side dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Synthesia Pard.. Hradec are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Lokomotiva (#12) in Plzen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Snakes will play at home against Synthesia (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
