We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Madrid where 10th ranked Estudiantes B (7-10) was defeated by eleventh ranked Estudio (6-9) 73-63 on Saturday. Estudio outrebounded Estudiantes B 39-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. Point guard Juan Llorente (192-93) stepped up and scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and center Carlos-Alvar Valle (204-91) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Chilean guard Ignacio Arroyo (190-0) responded with 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals and forward Pablo Gonzalez (190-1) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Despite that victory Estudio went down to twelfth position (Group B) due to points difference. Estudiantes B lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom place with ten games lost. Estudio's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Madrid Real Madrid 2.
