Regular Season Round 18: Lucca - Capo d'Orlando 77-51

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th ranked Capo d'Orlando (6-10) was outplayed on the road by ninth ranked Lucca (7-10) 77-51 on Saturday. Lucca forced 19 Capo d'Orlando turnovers. The best player for the winners was Andrea Del-Debbio (195-99) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Saverio Bartoli (193-0) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Luca Bolletta (198-91) who recorded 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Gianpaolo Riccio (193-96, college: Ave Maria) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Lucca moved-up to eighth place in B. Loser Capo d'Orlando dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Lucca will face Oleggio (#13) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Capo d'Orlando will play against Palermo GB (#4) and hope to win that game.
