Regular Season Round 10: Macau - Hong Kong ELL 97-80

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Chinese Macau (7-7) beat at home 9th ranked Hong Kong Hong Kong ELL (3-7) 97-80 on Sunday. Macau dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Hong Kong ELL's 34. American swingman Kenny Manigault (196-91, college: Pikeville) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American-Filipino guard Mikh McKinney (184-92, college: Sacramento St.) chipped in 30 points and 6 assists. American guard Brandis Raley-Ross (191-87, college: S.Carolina) produced 25 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Brandon Costner (206-87, college: NC State) added 14 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Macau and four Hong Kong ELL players scored in double figures. Hong Kong ELL's coach tested twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Macau moved-up to fourth place. Loser Hong Kong ELL keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Macau will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Hong Kong ELL will play against Formosa D. (#5) in Changhua City and hope to secure a win.
