Very expected game when 11th ranked Parma-2 (7-22) lost to sixth ranked Lokomotiv-2 (15-14) in Krasnodar 68-81 on Monday. The game without a history. Lokomotiv-2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Lokomotiv-2 shot 21 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Parma-2 only scored three points from the stripe. Lokomotiv-2 forced 19 Parma-2 turnovers. The winners were led by Ukrainian Andrey Matyuk (206-0) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and guard Vladislav Yemchenko (190-99) supported him with 10 points and 6 assists. Even 21 points and 6 assists by point guard Kirill Budin (181-1) did not help to save the game for Parma-2. Vladislav Perevalov (190-1) added 16 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Lokomotiv-2 have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Parma-2 keeps the eleventh position with 22 games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will again meet at home Parma-2 (#11) in the next round where they are favorite. Parma-2 will have a break next round.
