NBA top team - Raptors (33-14) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they beat fifth ranked Hawks (12-36) in Toronto 130-114. Raptors made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a very good performance for Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 9 rebounds. Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. U.S. Virgin Islands-American John Collins (208-97, college: Wake Forest) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and guard Trae Young (188-98, college: Oklahoma) added 18 points and 13 assists in the effort for Hawks. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Raptors. Defending champion maintains first place with 33-14 record, which they share with Denver N. Loser Hawks keep the fifth position with 36 games lost.
