Regular Season Round 26: Rieker KN - Levice 95-87

The most important game in the last round took place in Komarno between second ranked Levice (14-9) and ninth ranked Rieker KN (6-17) on Wednesday night. Levice was defeated by Rieker KN in a tough game on the road 87-95. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Levice. The best player for the winners was American forward Miles Bowman-Jr (198-93, college: High Point) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 21 rebounds. The other American import guard Jorden Duffy (185, college: N.Texas) chipped in 35 points (!!!). American swingman Chris Flemmings (197-94, college: UNCW) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and international point guard Simon Krajcovic (191-94, college: Loyola Mary) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for the guests. Four Levice players scored in double figures. Rieker KN moved-up to eighth place. Levice at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. They share it with Lucenec. Rieker KN are looking forward to face higher ranked Zilina (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Levice will play against the league's second-placed Lucenec and will have a slim chance for a victory.
