Regular Season Round 10: Macau - WM Dragons 97-87

Rather expected game when 7th ranked Malaysian WM Dragons (4-5) were defeated on the road by fifth ranked Chinese Macau (7-7) 97-87 on Wednesday. Macau made 23-of-23 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Strangely WM Dragons outrebounded Macau 44-32 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American-Filipino guard Mikh McKinney (184-92, college: Sacramento St.) fired 34 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. American swingman Kenny Manigault (196-91, college: Pikeville) chipped in a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). American guard Amir Bell (193-96, college: Princeton) produced 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import power forward Will Artino (211-92, college: Creighton) added 28 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Macau moved-up to fourth place. Loser WM Dragons dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. Macau will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. WM Dragons will play against Saigon Heat (#10) and hope to secure a win.
