Regular Season Round 18: Lokomotiva Plzen - Sokol Pisek 55-120

U19 League top team - Sokol Pisek (16-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Lokomotiva (0-17) in Plzen 120-55. Sokol Pisek forced 34 Lokomotiva turnovers and outrebounded them 47-32 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sokol Pisek looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a good game for guard Martin Strobl (189-2) who led his team to a victory with 26 points. Forward Jan Hanslbauer (196) contributed with 8 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. Point guard Vaclav Fronek (152-1) replied with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Tadeas Cabala (195) added 3 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Lokomotiva. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-1 record. Lokomotiva at the other side still closes the standings. Sokol Pisek are looking forward to face Kondori (#11) in Liberec in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lokomotiva will play at home against Snakes and hopes to get finally their first victory.
