There was an upset when higher ranked Lucca (7-12) was defeated on the road by thirteenth ranked Oleggio (5-13) 86-78 on Wednesday. Oleggio made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Daniele Benzoni (194-80) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Filippo Testa (193-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. Five Oleggio players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Alessandro Banchi (185-98) responded with 24 points and 5 assists and Andrea Del-Debbio (195-99) scored 17 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Oleggio moved-up to eleventh place in B. Newly promoted Lucca keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Oleggio will have a break next round.
