Important game to mention about took place in Joniskis. Delikatesas (15-14) saved a 2-point victory at home edging Vytis (14-15) 78-76 in the fight for the fifth place. The former international Andrius Globys (198-95) stepped up and scored 16 points for the winners and Giedrius Stankevicius (207-96) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Marijus Uzupis (197-93) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds. Five Vytis players scored in double figures. Vytis' coach Erikas Kuciauskas rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Delikatesas will play against Silute (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vytis will play against Neptunas-Akv. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
