Rather predictable result in Detroit where first ranked Raptors (35-14) defeated 4th ranked Pistons (17-32) 105-92 on Friday. Raptors dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Pistons' 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Raptors made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who helped to win the game recording 30 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Fred VanVleet (183-94, college: Wichita St.) who added 16 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Raptors players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: UConn) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 20 rebounds and guard Derrick Rose (190-88, college: Memphis) scored 21 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Raptors have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 35-14 record, which they share with Denver N. Pistons lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 32 games lost.
