Bottom-ranked Poitiers managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of twelve consecutive losses on Friday night. This time they won against thirteenth-ranked Gries/Oberhoffen in Bischwiller 97-88. Poitiers made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American-Puerto Rican point guard Emanuel Ubilla (188-86, college: Fair Dickinson) who scored 15 points and 7 assists.
