Undefeated leader USK Praha delivered the seventeenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Loko Trutnov (4-13) 126-64. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 104 of its points in the paint compared to Loko Trutnov's 34 and made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha forced 25 Loko Trutnov turnovers and outrebounded them 57-21 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. USK Praha players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Loko Trutnov's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was a good game for American center Brionna Jones (190-95, college: Maryland) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds (on 18-of-23 shooting from the field). Her fellow American import forward Alyssa Thomas (188-92, college: Maryland) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. American forward Bailee Cotton (185-96, college: Wyoming) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and guard Klara Drbohlavova (171-16) added 13 points in the effort for Loko Trutnov. Loko Trutnov's coach Michal Martisek gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the seventeenth consecutive win for USK Praha. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-0 record. Loko Trutnov lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. USK Praha will play against KP Brno (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Loko Trutnov will play against SBS Ostrava (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
