Top ranked Toshiba Thunders (27-8) recorded its eighth loss in Kanagawa on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked Toyota Alvark (26-9) 72-68. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Toyota Alvark made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game.
