Regular Season Round 18: Badalones - Mataro Feimat 48-71

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Mataro Feimat (11-6) smashed on the road 9th ranked Badalones (9-8) 71-48 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was naturalized GMBn forward Omar Toure (199-94) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Jordi Juanola (196-98) chipped in 18 points. Four Mataro Feimat players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center David Carbonell (201-94) who recorded 5 points and 11 rebounds and guard Marc Cuesta (190-89) added 11 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mataro Feimat moved-up to fourth place in Group C-B, which they share with Sant Adria. Newly promoted Badalones dropped to the eighth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
