Regular Season Round 18: Hagen-Haspe - Grevenbroich 90-86

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Grevenbroich (8-12) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Hagen-Haspe (3-18) 90-86 on Saturday. Strangely Grevenbroich outrebounded Hagen-Haspe 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Grevenbroich's players. It was a good game for Dutch forward Tyson Kanseyo (203-95, college: Azusa Pacific) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Naturalized Greek guard Luca Bampoulis (-97) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Hagen-Haspe's coach Martin Wasielewski used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Troy Harper (185-95, college: Drexel, agency: Scorers 1st Sportmanagement) replied with 37 points (!!!) and center Nino Janoschek (203-87) added 11 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Grevenbroich. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hagen-Haspe maintains thirteenth position in West with 3-18 record. Grevenbroich lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Hagen-Haspe will face higher ranked Deutzer (#7) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
