No shocking result in a game when third ranked Venezia (14-3) smashed at home 9th ranked Broni (7-10) 89-66 on Saturday. Venezia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Broni's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Latvian center Anete Steinberga (190-90, college: UTEP, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international forward Elisa Penna (186-95, college: Wake Forest) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists.
