Regular Season Round 35: Hitachi SRT - Ryukyu GK 74-76

Important game to mention about took place in Tokyo. Second ranked Ryukyu GK (22-12) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 4th placed Hitachi Sunrockers (23-12) 76-74 on Sunday evening. It was a great evening for American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Shota Onodera (183-94) helped adding 12 points and 6 rebounds. American center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import Ryan Kelly (211-91, college: Duke) scored 12 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ryukyu GK maintains second place with 22-12 record having six points less than leader Tochigi B. Hitachi Sunrockers at the other side keep the fourth position with 12 games lost. Ryukyu GK will play against Toyama G. (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hitachi Sunrockers will play against Kyoto H. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
