Very important is a home loss of third ranked Toyama G. (14-21) against sixth ranked Hokkaido L. (12-23) on Sunday night. Host Toyama G. was defeated by Hokkaido L. in a tough game in Toyama 80-88. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Toyama G.. American players dominated also this game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Toyama G.'s coach Don Beck let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Hokkaido L. moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Niigata A. Toyama G. at the other side keeps the third position with 21 games lost. Hokkaido L. will have a break next round. Toyama G. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Ryukyu GK in Okinawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
