Regular Season Round 30: Seagulls - BC Nokia 113-76

Leader Seagulls delivered the twenty fourth victory. This time they crushed 7th ranked BC Nokia (13-16) 113-76 in Helsinki. The game without a history. Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 20 long-distance shots on high 58.8 percentage. Seagulls players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists. It was a good game for Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-95, college: Vermont) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists. American guard Elijah Stewart (196-95, college: USC) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Five Seagulls players scored in double figures. Seagulls' coach Jussi Laakso felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Daniel Dolenc (205-93, agency: Blacktop Management) replied with 17 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Ladarius Tabb (197-93, college: AAMU) added 11 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BC Nokia. Seagulls maintains first position with 24-5 record. BC Nokia at the other side keeps the seventh place with 16 games lost. Seagulls will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BC Nokia will play at home against Pyrinto (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
