Regular Season Round 11: Mono Vampire - Saigon H. 95-87

Thailand leader Mono Vampire delivered the tenth victory on Tuesday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Vietnamese Saigon Heat (3-9) 95-87 in Bangkok. Mono Vampire looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American center Mike Morrison (206-89, college: GMU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American-Thailand guard Tyler Lamb (196-91, college: LBSU) helped adding 23 points and 5 rebounds. Four Mono Vampire players scored in double figures. Mono Vampire's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Tyshawn Taylor (191-90, college: Kansas) responded with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American-Bahrain power forward Malcolm White (205-88, college: LSU) scored 21 points. Mono Vampire have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-4 record. Loser Saigon Heat stay at the bottom position with nine games lost. Mono Vampire will meet at home Zhuhai (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Saigon Heat will play against Alab Pilipinas in Manila and hope to secure a win.
