The game in Zaporozhye supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Khimik (12-9) played at the court of 7th ranked Zaporizhye (7-15). Khimik smashed Zaporizhye 85-64 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zaporizhye. The game was mostly controlled by Khimik. Zaporizhye managed to win third quarter 14-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains fourth place with 12-9 record. Zaporizhye at the other side keeps the seventh position with 15 games lost. Khimik will meet at home Mykolaiv (#8) in the next round. Zaporizhye will play against Kyiv Basket and hope to secure a win.
