Second Stage Round 2: BK Opava - BK Decin 91-77

There was no surprise when BK Decin (10-13) was defeated on the road by BK Opava (18-6) 91-77. BK Opava players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The former international point guard Jakub Sirina (186-87, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 assists. Center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-93, college: Des Moines Area CC) contributed with 21 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American swingman Lamb Autrey (193-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with 9 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for BK Decin. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Opava will play against Svitavy (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. BK Decin will play against ERA Nymburk (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
