An exciting game was played in Indianapolis. First ranked Raptors faced second-ranked Pacers. Guests from Toronto (38-14) defeated host Pacers (31-21) 115-106. Raptors forced 20 Pacers turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Fred VanVleet (183-94, college: Wichita St.) accounted for 20 points and 7 assists for the winning side. Lithuanian-American power forward Domantas Sabonis (209-96, college: Gonzaga) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds and guard Malcolm Brogdon (196-92, college: Virginia) added 16 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists respectively for Pacers in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Pacers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Raptors have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 38-14 record. Pacers lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the second position with 21 games lost. Raptors' next day opponent will be Nets (#4) in Brooklyn. Pacers will play at home against Pelicans and hope to win that game.
