Important game to mention about took place in Fos-sur-Mer. Fifteenth ranked Provence Basket (8-11) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 14th ranked ALM Evreux (7-12) 73-70 on Friday evening. Provence Basket forced 28 ALM Evreux turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points. Cameroonian center Junior MBida (206-90) helped adding 10 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side Spanish-Venezuelan swingman Jhornan Zamora (196-89) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Paul Rigot (201-95) scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Provence Basket moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. ALM Evreux at the other side dropped to the sixteenth position with 12 games lost. Provence Basket will play against Aix-Maurienne (#14) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round. ALM Evreux will play at home against Saint Chamond and hopes to get back on the winning track.
