Everything went according to plan in Tokyo where second ranked Toyota Alvark (27-9) outscored 5th ranked Yokohama BC (9-26) 94-70 on Saturday. Toyota Alvark made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 9 rebounds and international guard Seiya Ando (184-92) who added 18 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward James Southerland (203-90, college: Syracuse) with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Turkish center Reginald Becton (206-91) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion used an opportunity after Tochigi B. lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Yokohama BC keeps the fifth place with 26 games lost. Toyota Alvark will face again Yokohama BC (#5) at home in the next round.
