First defeat of league's leader De Arend (1-1) against SCVU (1-1) 91-68 was the most important game of the last round. Sergio Panka orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Oscar Patterson contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four SCVU players scored in double figures. SCVU's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Emile La Rose (185-97) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds and Clarence Rozenblad added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for De Arend.
