Regular Season Round 21: Rimini - Ozzano 77-68

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Ozzano (11-10) was defeated on the road by third ranked Rimini (16-5) 77-68 on Sunday. Swingman Luca Bedetti (193-89, agency: Agency) stepped up and scored 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and forward Francesco Bedetti (195-93, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds. Five Rimini players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Riccardo Crespi (207-97, agency: Players Group) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Nunzio Corcelli (189-91) scored 11 points. Ozzano's coach Federico Grandi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Rimini maintains third place in B with 16-5 record behind leader Benedetto CE. Loser Ozzano dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. Rimini will face league's second-placed Fabriano on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ozzano will play against Piacentina (#4) and hope to win that game.
