Regular Season Round 18: Slavoj Litom. - USK Praha 46-87

Very expected game when 10th ranked Slavoj (4-14) was smashed by third ranked USK (12-4) in Litomerice 87-46. USK dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Slavoj's 20. They outrebounded Slavoj 44-24 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Center Kristian Kocab (197-2) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and forward Ondrej Svec (195-3) chipped in 11 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Five USK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Matej Wiesner (190-2) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Tomas Bohuslav (188-1) scored 4 points and 7 rebounds. Slavoj's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. USK have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 12-4 record having five points less than leader Sokol Pisek. Slavoj lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 14 games lost. USK will play against Kolin (#7) at home in the next round. Slavoj will play against the league's second-placed Hradec in J.Hradec and hopes to get back on the winning track.
