There was an upset when higher ranked Civitanova (12-9) was defeated at home by tenth ranked Aurora JE (10-11) 70-58 on Sunday. Swingman Giacomo Sgorbati (200-97, agency: Players Group) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and swingman Mattia Magrini (190-93) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Valerio Amoroso (204-80, agency: Interperformances) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and guard Filippo Alessandri (190-89) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Civitanova's coach Massimiliano Domizioli rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Aurora JE moved-up to eighth place in B, which they share with Mestre and LTC Sangiorg. Loser Civitanova keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. Aurora JE will face Faenza (#9) at home in the next round.
