They also forced 27 Slavia turnovers. The winners were led by swingman Michaela Vondrackova (175-91) who scored that evening 18 points and the former international swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91) supported her with 20 points and 4 steals. Zabiny Brno's coach Viktor Prusa used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds by power forward Petra Bakajsova (184-93) did not help to save the game for Slavia. Point guard Eliska Mircova (176-96) added 6 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for lost side. Zabiny Brno have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place. Loser Slavia dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Zabiny Brno will meet bottom-ranked U19 Chance (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Slavia's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Praha USK Praha.
