Regular Season Round 24: Asker Aliens - Centrum 74-65

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Asker Aliens (5-17) beat at home 7th ranked Centrum (7-16) 74-65. Worth to mention a great performance of DR Congolese forward Djo Loo-Yele (203-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds and American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-87, college: UNH) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Gilchrese is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: PLNU) with 26 points and the former international guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Asker Aliens maintains ninth position with 5-17 record. Centrum lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 16 games lost. Asker Aliens will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Centrum will play on the road against Tromso (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
