Second Stage Round 2: Olomouc Bbal - Sokol Pisek 103-99

The most important game in the last round took place in Olomouc between Sokol Pisek (16-4) and Olomouc Bbal (13-7) on Friday night. Sokol Pisek was defeated by Olomouc Bbal in a tough game on the road 99-103. Olomouc Bbal looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Jiri Dedek (190-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Radek Jurka (192-95) contributed with 28 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) replied with 27 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Pavel Englicky (208-83, agency: Octagon Europe) added 14 points, 13 rebounds and 9 blocks in the effort for Sokol Pisek. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olomouc Bbal are looking forward to face J.Hradec on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sokol Pisek will play against SKB Zlin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
