Regular Season Round 25: Andrezieux - GET Vosges 59-61

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked GET Vosges (11-13) edged on the road 8th ranked Andrezieux (13-12) 61-59 on Friday. They outrebounded Andrezieux 44-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for DR Congolese swingman Shekinah Munanga (201-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. Turkish center Mutlu Demir (211-87) contributed with 8 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Doume-Pierrick Moukenga (203-87) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American-Haitian point guard Cliff Colimon (182-89, college: EWU) added 11 points and 4 assists in the effort for Andrezieux. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. GET Vosges maintains tenth place in Group B with 11-13 record. Loser Andrezieux keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. GET Vosges will face higher ranked Orchesien BC (#7) in Orchies in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
