The game between Top Four teams took place in Bangkok. First ranked Thailand host Mono Vampire (11-4) defeated 3rd placed Taiwanese Fubon Braves (9-8) 90-86. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 31 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American-Thailand guard Tyler Lamb (196-91, college: LBSU) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws). Singletary is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Mono Vampire players scored in double figures. American guard OJ Mayo (193-87, college: USC) produced 20 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Costa Rican-Belizean forward Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) added 22 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Mono Vampire have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-4 record. Fubon Braves lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with eight games lost. Mono Vampire will meet at home Singapore Slingers (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Fubon Braves will have a break next round.
