Regular Season Round 14: Dnipro - K.Sokoly 91-80

There was no surprise when 9th ranked K.Sokoly (2-20) was defeated on the road by first ranked Dnipro (17-5) 91-80 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Dnipro. K.Sokoly was better in third quarter 28-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Dnipro looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. K.Sokoly was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Jared Terrell (190-95, college: URI) who scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (206-87) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Four Dnipro players scored in double figures. Dnipro's coach Denys Zhuravlov allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Delwan Graham (203-88, college: Jacksonville) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and his fellow American import guard Kareem Jamar (194-92, college: Montana) added 23 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Dnipro have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 17-5 record. K.Sokoly lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 20 lost games. Dnipro will face Odessa (#5) at home in the next round. K.Sokoly will play against Khimik (#4) and hope to win that game.
