His fellow American import center Charles Jackson (208-93, college: Tenn Tech) helped adding 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American forward James Southerland (203-90, college: Syracuse) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds and Turkish center Reginald Becton (206-91) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hitachi Sunrockers maintains fourth place with 26-13 record. Loser Yokohama BC keeps the fifth position with 29 games lost. Hitachi Sunrockers will face higher ranked Toyama G. (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yokohama BC will play against the league's leader Tochigi B. and hope to win that game.
