B2 League top team - Dragonflies (36-7) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Yamagata (8-35) 82-65. Dragonflies looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a very good performance for Venezuelan center Gregory Echenique (206-90, college: Creighton, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds (on 13-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international forward Shogo Asayama (192-81) contributed with 14 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. Hungarian forward Gyorgy Goloman (211-96, college: UCLA) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian forward Chukwudiebere Maduabum (206-91) added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for Yamagata. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Dragonflies. They maintain first place with 36-7 record. Yamagata lost their twelfth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with 35 games lost. Dragonflies will face league's second-placed Kagawa FA in Takamatsu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yamagata will play at home against the league's second-placed Gunma (#2) and hope to win that game.
