There was no surprise when 13th ranked Cestestica Aquila (4-15) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Lucca (9-12) 74-59 on Sunday. Lucca forced 20 Cestestica Aquila turnovers. Andrea Del-Debbio (195-99) fired 19 points for the winners. Guard Gian-Marco Drocker (188-1) chipped in 16 points. Four Lucca players scored in double figures. Lucca's coach Michele Catalani used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Naturalized Argentinian guard Sebastian Vico (190-86) produced 11 points and 6 assists and naturalized Argentinian swingman Santiago Boffelli (195-83) added 17 points respectively for lost side. Newly promoted Lucca maintains eighth position in B with 9-12 record, which they share with Juvi Cremona. Cestestica Aquila at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Lucca will have a break next round. Cestestica Aquila will play at home against Valsesia (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
